As we went down to the water today to bless it we had company, some reporters from the Kitsap Sun Newspaper, a local paper.

how very exciting! Last year was the first time I was able to experience the blessing of the river (our parish does not do it, but a new mission not far from us does, so we joined them) - it was such a beautiful thing, and the children loved jumping in the water to retrieve the cross.
